Steps to Delete Your Account



1. Open the Urbee App:

Launch the Urbee app on your mobile device and ensure you’re logged into your account.



2. Access the Profile Section:

Tap on the profile icon or navigate to the menu (typically located in the  left top  profile icon).


3. Find the Delete Account Option:

Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" 


4. Account Deletion Confirmation:

Read the warning or notification  regarding data loss, then confirm your decision by tapping  "Confirm."



5. Account Deletion Complete:

Directly lands you to log in page of app after account deletion. If any changes in mind, user can anytime reactivate by logging in . This is only permitted upto 90 days. ( Kindly check the account deletion policy) .

Urbee App Account Deletion Policy

Effective Date: 14th october 2024

At Urbee, we respect your right to control your personal data, including your right to delete your account. If you wish to delete your account, we provide an easy and transparent process. This Account Deletion Policy outlines the steps and conditions under which your account and associated data will be permanently deleted from our system.

  

1. How to Delete Your Account

You can request to delete your Urbee account through the following methods:

A. In-App Account Deletion

  1. Go      to Account Settings: Open the Urbee app, go to the Profile Settings     section, and select Delete Account.
  2. Confirm      Deletion: You will be prompted to confirm that you want to permanently      delete your account. If you confirm, your account will be scheduled for      deletion.
  3. Final      Confirmation: A final confirmation email or in-app notification will      be sent to ensure the deletion request was intentional.

B. Contact Support

Alternatively, you may contact our customer support team at urbeehelpcentre@gmail.com  to request the deletion of your account. Please include your registered email address or phone number to verify your identity.

  

2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Upon submitting a request to delete your account:

  • Account      Data: All personal information associated with your account, including      your profile details, service history, transaction records, and      communication history, will be permanently deleted from our      servers.
  • Service      Access: You will no longer be able to log in, access your account, or      use the Urbee app after deletion.
  • Service      Providers' Information: If you are a Service Provider, all information      about services offered, reviews, and ratings associated with your account      will also be deleted.
  • User      Information: If you are a User, your booking history, preferences, and      reviews will be deleted.

Please note that once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored. You will need to create a new account to use Urbee again.

  

3. Retention of Some Information

While most of your personal data will be deleted, we may retain certain information for the following purposes:

  • Legal      Obligations: We may retain information required by law (e.g., for tax      or regulatory reasons, or to comply with legal requests).
  • Fraud      Prevention: To prevent fraudulent activity, we may retain anonymized      data to ensure the safety of the platform and its users.
  • Accounting      and Payment Records: For legal and financial reporting purposes,      transaction records may be retained for a period of up to 7 years.

  

4. Timeline for Deletion

  • Once      the account deletion request is confirmed, we will begin the deletion      process immediately.
  • Processing      Time: It may take up to 90 days to fully delete all      account-related data from our systems.
  • Data      in Backups: Some residual data may remain in our backup storage for up      to 90 days, if change in mind user can login back or else will be permanently deleted thereafter.

  

5. Cancelling a Deletion Request

If you change your mind about deleting your account, you can cancel your deletion request by logging in back to urbee app  or contacting our support team at urbeehelpcentre@gmail.com

  

6. Impact on Service History and Reviews

  • Service      Providers: If you delete your account, any reviews or ratings left by      Users about your services will also be removed.
  • Users:      If you delete your account, any reviews you’ve left for Service Providers      will also be deleted, along with your booking history.
